Today, Oracle has announced that Oracle E-Business Suite R12 is certified with Oracle database 11g R1, the project I was actively involved into.
This announcement for EBS Release 12 version 12.0.4 and up includes:
- Oracle Database 11gR1 Version 11.1.0.6
- Oracle Database 11gR1 Version 11.1.0.6 Real Application Clusters (RAC)

I just finished installing R12 (rup 6) and 11g (11.1.0.6.) on RedHat Linux 64bit V5. The installation went fine and was impressed with it; I assumed I was going to see many errors. I did not see any issues with the R12 installation or the 11g. During the Rup6 install, I saw a couple of issue and was able to correct easily while the patch is running. Good job Oracle!

i am trying to install rhel 4 on acer 4930 aspire but while installation it is asking some driver for hardware and it is not accepting any driver from the list and installation fails due to it..plz help me regarding this.
